A week unlike any other in Geneva. Traffic gradually resumes in the city.

Our intelligent acoustic sensor hosted by the HEPIA (Haute Ecole du Paysage, d’Ingénierie et d’Architecture de Genève de la HES-SO) tracks and qualifies traffic  in the City from its sound, thanks to the coupling of acoustics and artificial intelligence.

Below, traffic before and during partial confinement decreed in Switzerland, then last week. A normal work week, a “confined” week, and a partial reopening week began on Monday, April 27.

With the confinement traffic has nearly halved on rue du Jura, near HEPIA. It has only slightly resumed last week.
